Funder Collaboratives at The Trust
We manage a number of funder collaboratives that bring grantmakers together around important issues. These collaboratives periodically issue requests for proposals. Sometimes the RFP is closed, i.e., the RFP is mailed to a selected list of nonprofits who may respond, and others are posted for a general response.

The NYC AIDS Fund has
successfully increased private funding to fight the AIDS epidemic and help
community groups provide vital programs for people living with the disease and
advocating on their behalf. Since it began in 1989, The Fund has awarded $19
million in grants and was recognized last year by Mayor Bloomberg for its
"tremendous dedication to combating the spread of HIV/AIDS and for
providing care to those affected by the disease.”
